Brief Biography

Growing up as an Air Force kid I lived mostly in southern California and northern Virginia. I now live in Huntsville, Alabama with my husband and daughter. After earning a BBA in Accounting from the College of William and Mary, I worked professionally as an auditor, controller, and analyst for 10 years in the Washington, DC area and in Huntsville, Alabama.

In 2006, I started learning how to throw pottery on the wheel, and I started selling my pieces a year later. I make wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, as well as handcrafted ornaments and jewelry. Some of my favorite pieces include hanging bird feeders and planters, garden markers, noodle bowls, garlic grater/herb stripper dishes, and paint cups.
